One of Sarabeth’s favorite songs to sing is Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes. She clued in pretty quickly to those major body parts and most days has figured out where her eyes, ears, nose and mouth are too. We love talking about and pointing out body parts.
God Made You Nose to Toes
I was excited when I discovered God Made You Nose to Toes by Leslie Parrot! A book that combines Sarabeth’s love of finding and labeling body parts and the message that she is made by God would be perfect!
This sweet little story follows Toucan as he explores his body parts and shows your child what the body part looks like on him or her. Through the pages of this book, your child discovers the unique way that s/he was created and how God created him/her uniquely.
We’re big fans
We immediately repeated this story after our first time reading it. The illustrations are bright and fun. Sarabeth loved finding all the different elements of the illustrations and identifying the animals and the actions they were engaging in.
This book shares the all-important message that we are all created by God. The book celebrates the uniqueness of animals and humans. It recognizes similarities and differences and paints each one as special and important.
