This month I’ve been dreaming about the blog. About the future. About the message God has put on my heart to share. When you take the time to listen, He will show you so much. When you open your eyes, open your ears and open your heart, amazing things will happen.
This month has really reminded me of my love for blogging. The reason why I created this space in the first place.
Your legacy is important.
The story you choose to tell with your life is important. I hope that, if nothing else, you have learned that this month. The habits, characteristics and choices you make in your life affect generations upon generations. Your legacy will carry on long after you are gone. Whether it’s through writing that you have done. Or through the life choices that your children make. The things you do carry on.
As we’re getting ready to celebrate Sarabeth’s 2 year birthday, I am constantly reminded that she is always watching. She picks up sign language from watching her videos. She gravitates to the things I like and suggest.
Those around us are always watching and picking up what we’re presenting. Sometimes it takes stepping back and evaluating. You want to be able to help people move from point A to point B. There should be no condemnation as we help someone move forward and grow.
It should be a natural thing for us to help people build their legacy. To recognize the things that need to be worked on in our own lives and share that with others. We don’t have to sit down and write a book or a blog to tell others what God is teaching us. All we have to do is be willing to be aware of those around us and how we can best help them move forward themselves.
