Participants complete an application and upload required documents such as:

Birth certificate
State ID or school ID
Parent/guardian consent forms (if under 18)
18+ participant consent forms
Once applications are submitted, our team reviews each participant individually to better understand:
their goals,

strengths,
challenges,
and career interests.
Even while applications are being reviewed, youth can still begin engaging with the program and receiving support.
If a participant already has a career path in mind, we help prepare them for that field.
If they are unsure, we help guide them toward industries and opportunities that best fit their strengths and potential.
WHAT MAKES 9 TO THRIVE DIFFERENT
9 to Thrive is not just a job placement program.
We focus on building employable, disciplined, and community-minded young leaders through structure, accountability, mentorship, fitness, and real preparation.
Participants are trained to:
communicate professionally,
show up consistently,
build confidence,
prepare for interviews,
create resumes,
work in teams,
solve problems,
and carry themselves professionally in real-world environments.
We believe workforce development should do more than provide temporary work.
It should help young people build confidence, stability, direction, discipline, and ownership over their future.
COMMUNITY IMPACT
Many young people are disconnected from opportunity long before they ever enter the workforce.
Lack of access to mentorship, guidance, transportation, documentation, workforce preparation, and stable opportunities can leave youth vulnerable to instability, violence, and survival-based decision making.
9 to Thrive was created to help change that.
When young people gain structure, job readiness, mentorship, leadership skills, communication skills, and access to opportunity:
communities become safer,
families become stronger,
businesses gain prepared workers,
and more resources circulate back into local neighborhoods.
By helping youth become employable and future-focused, we help strengthen the overall health of the community while creating pathways toward economic mobility and long-term stability.
